  • We built the largest wind farm complex in Australia (MacIntyre 1 GW).
  • We commissioned the Company's first wind farm in Peru (San Juan de Marcona, 136 MWp).
  • We start construction of Forty Mile, a wind project in Canada with potential for expansion (Alberta 280 MW).
  • We were awarded five 436 MW wind projects in Thailand, together with our partner The Blue Circle.
  • We were selected to develop a wind farm in the Philippines (north of Manila, 160 MW) by its government, together with our partner Freya Renewables.

  • We commissioned photovoltaic projects in the United States (High Point, Fort Bend, Red-Tailed Hawk, and Union) with more than 1 GW.

  • We commissioned the Bolarque plant (Spain, 50 MWp).
  • We completed the Company's first hybrid renewable generation plant at the Escepar wind farm site (Spain, 36 MW) with the construction of a 295 MW photovoltaic plant.

  • We signed long-term power purchase agreements with private customers representing more than 1,650 GWh/year.
  • We signed a 15-year PPA with Stanwell, the state-owned power utility company in Queensland (Australia), covering the entire production of the Aldoga photovoltaic plant (380 MW), operational by 2025.
  • We agreed to supply all the energy generated at six operating wind farms in Spain for 10 years, together with Fortia.
  • We extended the long-term supply contract with Amazon in the United States.

Pioneers in battery storage technologies.

2023 Highlights:

  • The largest battery project in Texas (190 MW) acquired in 2022 came on stream, along with a portfolio of over 1 GW of storage in the United States.
  • EU funds were awarded by IDAE (Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving) to build new battery storage projects in Spain.

Green hydrogen

Key energy vector for decarbonization

2023 Highlights:

  • Grants were awarded for the Valle H2V Navarra project to build an industrial-scale green hydrogen production plant.
  • We launched the Acciona Nordex Green Hydrogen joint venture to develop Green hydrogen projects in areas with high-energy resources to produce 0.5 MMt/year of green hydrogen in 10 years, with current sites in the United States, Latin America, and Africa.

2023 Highlights:

  • We signed energy management contracts for major retail facilities worldwide.
  • We consolidated our activity in the French market for energy savings certificates, a business that is now being replicated in Spain following regulatory advances that introduce this provision into the market.

  • We acquired the Spanish company Solideo to boost our self-consumption business for residential customers and SMEs.
  • We installed one of the world's largest solar-powered irrigation systems in Montesusín (Spain).
  • We signed an agreement with a large industrial client for a 48 MWp self-consumption plant in Navarra (Spain), one of the largest projects of its kind in Europe.
